IBBA Committees Accepting Board Nominations

 

Nominating committees are now accepting nominations for open positions on the International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) Board of Directors.

Nominations for areas four, six, seven and eight will be accepted until Oct. 10. Area four is comprised of Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and New England States. Area six is comprised of Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Australia. Area seven is comprised of Texas and Mexico. Area eight is comprised of states within the Central Time Zone, except Texas and Oklahoma.

Nominated candidates will be announced in the November issue of the Brangus Journal. Election ballots will be mailed to IBBA members in respective areas on Nov. 10. Members in areas four, six, seven and eight should return completed ballots to IBBA’s accounting office for counting. Ballots must be postmarked to Akin, Doherty, Klein & Feuge, P.C., 8610 N. New Braunfels, Suite 101, San Antonio, TX 78217 by Dec. 31. The candidate receiving the largest number of votes in each electoral area will be announced after tabulation occurs in mid-January.

Nominations for the following areas may be directed to the respective committees no later than Oct. 5.
